The 04 14 2012 Jersey Fist Pump Wedding
Saturday, April 14, 2012Wedding Ceremony & Reception
The Founders Inn and Spa, Virginia Beach, Virginia
"My husband and I have a very broad taste
in music that most DJs may not relate to. After meeting and speaking
with DJ Seko and sensing how professional he was, and how open he was to
our taste in music, it made us feel at ease that we would have a great
time.
He definitely did not disappoint in the least. Family and friends are
still buzzing about how good he was, and how he was able to get everyone
involved in a way unlike any traditional DJ they have ever heard. My
husband and I could not be more pleased with the music selection . DJ
Seko had everyone in the party from young to old dancing from the
beginning to the end. DJ Seko = Good times, great music, and fun had by
all!" - Melanie Azemar-WoodsonClick here to read Melanie's event feedback form !
This Destination Wedding event was classic from beginning to end ! The entire group traveled from New Jersey pumping their fists (including the photographers).
Positive Vibes provided the ceremony sound system for the ceremony. This system provides a microphone that picks up everything from Bride-Groom-Officiator and provides additional microphones if other participants need reinforcement. This also provides prelude music 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, all the music needed for the ceremony, and for up to 30 minutes following the ceremony. Pastor Ron McLean, both a Man of the cloth and a excellent financial planner (Seko jokingly introduced him as 'Pastor Paycheck') blessed the union with his wit, love, and compassion. DJ Seko (Seko Varner) then worked the reception adding his flair and creativity. Guests begin as spectators, and end as participants in the reception. The event was magical !
Mel was a knock-out reportedly from the time Seko met her. Seko says that he saw what Corey saw in her in the first 10 minutes. They both hailed from New Jersey and had a truly global appreciation for music. In example: at the ceremony Corey entered the ceremony on "I Do" performed by Boyz II Men (Seko almost insists that all Grooms have their special entrance songs), our Bride Melanie entered the ceremony on "Spend My Life With You" performed by Eric Bemet and Tamia, and the recessional was Sanchez' Roots-Reggae version of "Nothing's Gonna' Change My Love for You." The parents were introduced during the reception over an edited version of "I'm Sexy and I Know it" performed by LMFAO. Later in the reception Seko did a (completely packed dance floor) mix of "The Perculator" by Cajmere with "Conga" performed by Miami Sound Machine. Ten minutes later the crowd was sweating to the sounds of
| "Zouk la Se Sel Medikaman Nou Ni" performed by Kassaz just before Seko mixed in Elvis Crespo's Suavamente. The entire event was sparkled by the crowd Pumping their fists Jersey Style ! | http://www.positivevibes.djintelligence.com/survey/results/ |
